Kaydis Letter Writing - Adam Brown

Task - Write a letter to 

Adam Brown

Adam has been working at Middlemore Hospital in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU). He has had to wear a mask all day and has started to get bruises and grazes from wearing it. He not only has to look after those with covid-19 in ICU but also other people needing medical help. He uses the quote “Stay home, save lives” with his family and friends.

~Part 1: 

Introduce yourself and explain who you are, and where you go to school. What have you been doing during level 3 and 4 to make sure you stay home and save lives.

~Part 2: 

Thank Adam for all of his hard work for making sure that the ICU is running smoothly and looking after all the patients in the hospital. 

~Part 3: 

Write a message of support, put yourself in Adam’s shoes and think about all of the hard decisions he has had to make to make sure that all of his patients are kept safe and well. Also think about what he has had to do in his own bubble to make sure that his patients and other medical professionals are safe.

Dear Adam Brown,

I am a Year 5 at Point England School 

I would Like  to  say thank you  for all your hard work when it was Lockdown.   When we were safe in our bubbles you risked your health and life by  going to work at the hospital every day.

I have heard that it is very difficult wearing a mask all day.  We are thankful that you do this to help everyone who is sick.. It is important that you keep safe.

You are doing a great  job Adam Brown. We are proud of all that you are doing for us.

Hockey Recount

On Thursday we played hockey outside. we learn new skill. oar new skill were left and right. And we learnt river and bank and we put are foot on the yellow line. and then deejay run fast as lightning and whack the heavy ball and score a goal. and then it was the challenging game it was blue vs green and then Talanoa crash on the ground. And then the coach said 6 people and that was me and my friends. Lui got the goal and we got 2 goals. In the challenging game so blue vs green the winter team is blue. And i feel happy. again we split in two teams on the right and the green team on the left. When we played octopus we learnt that the coach says in you have grey shoes run, that was me and Te Ao. I enjoyed playing hockey with my friends.

The Zoo

I chose to go to the zoo. The zoo is fun because l can get to see cool animals like snakes gorillas crocodiles and donkeys when l got to the zoo keepers feeding the crocodile the water Looked so nice and l jumped in for a siwim ahhhh! l screamed as the crocodile bit my head off.

Cricket

On Tnursday I went to  kiwisport I played cricket with my friends on the field. It was fun bowling and catching.

Line Tag

On Wednesday l play Line Tag with my friends. l Ran all over the court and felt very hot.

Elimination tag

On MOND l played tag with my friends. l climbed up high on the park. it was Lots of fun

Healthy Lunches

Softball

On a sunny day I played my softball game. Some little people like playing softball. A friend called Lyallwas in my team. We were the best catchers. First we swapped and I was the batter. I was the first one and I hit the ball high and suddenly Layall hit the ball high too. After that our friend hit the it high and she had a home run. Finally it was finished and I went home.

Amos

once upon a time there was a creature named Amos He is tall like a tree and has green mossy har. he looks like a beast but he is very kind.

Kiwi

The kiwi is a NZ bird.

Zoo

We went to the zoo. Went to the zoo on a bus. At the zoo we saw tigers. The tigers are orange with black stripes. The tigers like to sleep in the sun.

Jack the Robot

Jack is a lonely robot and he is rusted. He has Robot hands and he is lonely. Jacks lives in the bin. He is a little Robot. It has a dented cars and rubbish and wheels. One day jack looked at the ground. He was looking for a friend and he is lonely. Then he found a friend. 

Fiafia

  My favourite part I like at fiafia practice is rock in Roll

My picture

Last week in Rooms 19 and 20 l drew a picture of myself. First l folded my paper

in four pieces. Then l drew a big circle for my face and two lines for

my neck and shoulders. Next l added my two eyes, two ears and my nose 

and my mouth, Finally I drew on my hair and coloured  in my picture.
